Been awhile...okay, been a damn long time...
Since I posted here. Been busy posting in my other blog (Sound Off! at www.controlglobal.com) which can also be found at http://www.livejournal/users/waltboyes.

We now know that many Democrats, many professional Black Activists, and many displaced persons (we wouldn't want to call them refugees, now, that's not PC) believe that Bush underreacted in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Of course, the fact that the City of New Orleans had no functionable disaster plan (and in fact let all the city bus vehicles, which could have been used for immediate evacuation become flooded and destroyed) and the Governor of Louisiana apparently spent her time running in circles, screaming and shouting, instead of calling out the LANG and declaring martial law right away had nothing to do with the problem, right?

Of course, if Bush had reacted the way they say NOW that they wanted him to, they would have reviled him for imprisoning poor black Americans because they just happened to live in New Orleans.

Most reporters apparently have little or no grasp of physics, or logistics. They make stupid statements, or quote people making other stupid statements ("the river is entirely under water!" case in point). Then those stupid statements become the basis for questioning government leaders, who cannot respond appropriately ("That's a stupid question, go away before I take that microphone and shove it up your behind!") and therefore are misquoted misresponding to a stupid question that has no basis in reality anyway.
