I'm the editor of CONTROL, the largest magazine covering process automation, and its website, www.controlglobal.com, and its multiple digital properties. I am also a principal in Spitzer and Boyes LLC, a technology consulting firm. I am a published author, both nonfiction and fiction and a member of SFWA. I was one of the founders and first President of the CorgiAid Foundation for rescue funding for corgis. I have been an officer of ISA, the International Society of Automation. I am a Fellow of ISA, as well. I have also been a firstreader for Mercedes Lackey, Eric Flint, and John Ringo, as well as an occasional slush reader for Baen Books.I was a member of the Editorial Committee of Baen's Universe magazine, and the Editorial Board of The Grantville Gazette. I am the bananaslug at Baen's Bar, because I went to the University of California at Santa Cruz.
