RIM's Blackberry email servers died about 8 pm last night, and have not yet come up. So millions of crackberry addicts are going through withdrawal today. RIM said, in a statement I saw quoted on Slashdot, but haven't been able to find the original of (YMMV) that people who have come to depend on their Blackberrys should make other arrangements.

Yeah.
Luckily, laptop is working again...I was totally dependent on the crackberry for all of Monday because I didn't have the right charger connector for my universal laptop charger...it looked like the right one, but it didn't charge.
Ah, well. Perhaps this is a good time to go cold turkey. |

Turns out it was due to an attempt to optimize system cache.
